Winter 2008, the Nomsa team realized that there was a huge need for blankets in many cities, and decided to ask communities to collect blankets for our friends who’d spend many cold nights outside on the streets.
Spread the Warmth was born.
Nomsa partnered with churches, schools, and friends to collect blankets all over Florida & Georgia. We collected and distributed over 2,500 blankets, as well as coats, clothing, and scarves; in Orlando & Atlanta.
